When you contact me about your project please let me know exactly what you're looking for. Here are a few things to consider...
What will your decal say?
You'll need to tell me what the script logo will be. This is the most time consuming part of the design on my end since I do this by hand. If you want any specific attention to any letters, please let me know. Some people just stop here and call it a "no-caster" (just the script logo). Most include a model name, set next to the script or below, sometime in quotes. And finally, many orders include the home town or country of origin for the guitar, ie. MADE IN USA, or Brooklyn, NY, etc. etc.
Silver or Gold?
Most decal logo scripts are filled with Silver or Gold. I use opaque, metallic enamel. No transparent, pixelated, inkjet approximations here. Just metallic, reflective, silvers and golds. I can also do solid colors and other metallic colors by request. Just ask, and we can see what is available.
What finish is on your neck?
I clear-coat all my decals to make them more durable during my process. If your neck is finished in lacquer I'll do a thin coat of lacquer over the decals. If you are using poly, I can do that too. I also can do a tinted, amber clear-coat if you want an aged look. If you really don't want any clear-coat on them I can do that too, just let me know.
